    The Department of Environmental Studies has been added to the college recently. Though still in its nascent stage the department is doing wonderful work. The department not only impart Environmental education but also makes the students develop a deeper understanding of environmental issues and have the skills to make informed and responsible decisions and understand complex environmental issues. It inculcates in the students the thinking process about our environment, about values, philosophy, principles and ethics needed for environment protection. The purpose of imparting Environmental education tat Deshbandhu College endeavors to sensitize students towards Nature and its Biotic and Abiotic components. The aim of the department is to inspire the students to become ambassadors and protectors of environment
